President Jiesheng Liu Attends the 2025 Polytechnic Summit Hosted by the Global Polytechnic Education Alliance
From May 18 to 21, 2025, the Global Polytechnic Education Alliance (GPEA) hosted the "2025 Polytechnic Summit" at the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UW-Stout, also called Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University) in the United States. The forum was attended by over 200 representatives from GPEA member universities in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, and Belgium, as well as representatives from some Non-GPEA member universities. The China Center for International Education Exchange, CCIEE) was invited to organize a delegation from over 10 Chinese polytechnic institutions to attend the forum. Professor Jiesheng Liu, the President, Professor Shuze Tang, Dean of the International School, and Yao Ling, Secretary of the Board, represented Guangzhou Huali College as the only private university delegate at this international academic forum.

The 2025 Polytechnic Summit, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stout, was themed "Education Designed for the Future." The program included three keynote speeches and 35 breakout sessions. Topics covered included: Industry/Business Engagement Best Practices, Designing for Humanistic and AI Partnerships, Future-Focused University Systems and Infrastructure, and Entrepreneurship on a Polytechnic Campus.
The main sessions were chaired by UW-Stout's Provost, Professor Glendali Rodriguez, with the opening address delivered by President Katherine P. Frank.

The three invited keynote speakers, all leading figures from the corporate world, focused on AI and educational innovation:
1. Matt Kirchner, General Manager of ATS/LAB Midwest: Hands-on Higher Education and how AI will transform the University experience.
2. Rishi Jaitly, Entrepreneur/OpenAI Senior Advisor: Invisible infrastructure: reclaiming a humanities-inspired technology landscape.
3. David Bruce, General Manager at Gartner: Navigating the future: AI's role in higher education.
A special breakout session focused on collaboration with Chinese educational institutions, titled "Sustaining Partnerships with Chinese Institutions: Strategies, Models, and Experiences," which attracted many participants from Sino-American cooperative universities for exchange and discussion. President Jiesheng Liu was invited to speak at the session, sharing insights on Guangzhou Huali College's applied innovation education and international cooperative programs.
