On May 28, 2025, Professor Jiesheng Liu, President of Guangzhou Huali College, and Professor Shuze Tang, Dean of the International School, were invited to University of La Verne, California to visit Dr. Issam Ghazzawi, Huali's visiting Professor.

Accompanied by Professor Ghazzawi, Dean Tang and others toured the campus and the school's teaching and office facilities. An exchange symposium was held subsequently.

Vice President Professor Laura Hartley, School of Business Dean Emmeline de Pillis, among others, attended the exchange symposium. Vice President Laura Hartley warmly welcomed the Huali representatives and gave a brief introduction to the University of La Verne's long history and unique characteristics, especially emphasizing its distinctive status in the field of management. She also praised Professor Ghazzawi's outstanding contributions and academic reputation in management.

Following this, Dean Shuze Tang presented a brief overview of Huali College and the International School through a PowerPoint presentation. Professor Ghazzawi supplemented this with insights based on his teaching experience at Huali.

Professor Issam Ghazzawi visited Huali in September-October 2023 and taught the 2023 freshman students. His extensive knowledge, humorous style, and interactive teaching were greatly appreciated by the students, leading Guangzhou Huali College to appoint him as a visiting professor.
